Yes u may appear for next year JAM test also...Like GATE Jam doesnt have limit on number of attempts..But no one can sure about the exam dates..

Hello , I applied for IIT JAM in 2011 but couldn't give paper due to severe illnes. This year also I am planning to appear. But in case I don't qualify is it possible to appear in 2013 ? GATE doesn't have limit on number of attempts. Is it also true of IIT - JAM mathematics ?

Further when will IIT JAM 2013 be held ? In May or February. This year JAM and GATE collided . Does anyone know whether this change is permanent ?

If yes , it won't be possible for a student to sit for IIT JAM and IIT GATE in the same year.
